Eligibility for Major SBA Programs - Small Disadvantaged Business

To qualify for SDB preferences, your firm must be certified by the SBA.  Self certification is not longer available.  The qualifications for SDB status are almost identical to the 8(a) program qualifications except the limit on total net worth for the entry is higher (less than $750,000 compared with the $250,000 limit for the 8(a) program) and there is no requirement for SDB applicants to demonstrate potential for success.
